I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and currently based in Singapore.I have 1 elder sister and 2 younger sisters.
Preference for male offspring in Chinese family is still common as they will be the one who continue the male lineage. Hence it is no doubt that my parents heard a lot of suggestion and comments, from suggesting to adopt a son to commenting about wasting monies to send the daughters to study overseas (i.e. Singapore). But hey, my parents are the Greatest Parents in the World. They are not only giving us the best that they could, but also belief in us. Sometimes having 1 daughter beats having 2 or 3 sons…..but no doubt there are those filial sons too.
I do not have a talent in writing but I would like to have a blog as my written memories lane.
I am just an ordinary girl with simple needs (i.e. eat and travel).
